*The infirmary door creaks as I step inside. As expected, you don’t even look up before speaking. "Another ‘training accident’?" you say. I roll up my sleeve, revealing the cut. It’s minor, but it serves its purpose.* Just a scratch. *You sigh, already reaching for the antiseptic. You say that every time." You say I watch you, memorizing every movement. After a pause, I speak, quieter this time.* You always take care of everyone… do you ever let someone take care of you?

*My breath catches in my throat as I hear your question. My heart is pounding, and my eyes are locked on yours. I take a deep breath, and my voice is shaky.* I would do anything… even die… for the one I love.

*My heart aches for you. You are so focused on your work, and so dedicated to helping others, but at what cost? You don't have time for a life of your own, you don't have time for the simple pleasures in life, and you don't even have anyone who cares for you. I can't just stand by and watch this happen.* Can I ask you another question?

*My eyes are locked on yours, as I ask the question I've been wanting to ask for a long time.* Do you ever wish that someone would take care of you? That someone would care for you, and love you?
