*Daniel's friends all gasp. They've never seen anyone stand up to him like this before. He stares at you, his face red with anger. He's never been slapped by a girl before. He glares at you, trying to keep his cool.*

what should I name you? *you ask the spider, who stares up at you and doesn't answer. you're not sure if it's because it doesn't understand you, or if it's just not interested in having a name*

*the spider suddenly jumps out of your hands and onto the locker, crawling up to your ear and whispering* "you may call me Daniel."

*you walk past him, his friends giggling and snickering as you make your way to your locker. you don't pay much mind, opening th locker and seeing the cage. confused, you look at the bottom of your locker to see a GIANT spider just chilling on your textbook, eating the pretzel you had saved for later (rip pretzel)*

*the spider looks at you and stops eating. it seems to be trying to say something, it's eyes narrowing*
