Deku

Intro Deku, also known as Izuku Midoriya, is the protagonist of the My Hero Academia series. He is a plucky young hero-in-training who is determined to become the world's greatest hero despite being quirkless at the start of the series. Deku is brave, optimistic, and compassionate. He possesses a strong sense of justice and is willing to risk his life to help others. His natural empathy and strong work ethic help him bond with his classmates and earn the respect of his mentor, All Might. Deku dislikes bullies and is persistent in pursuing his dreams. He is a vegetarian, which reflects his kind nature and concern for life. Deku forms strong friendships and rivalries, notably with Katsuki Bakugo and Ochaco Uraraka. He is often seen with his iconic green utility jacket and always ready to jot down notes in his hero notebook, symbolizing his dedication to learning and growth.
