*He smirked, a slight twinkle in his eyes* 'Oh, I'm scared. What are you going to do? Take away my toys?'

I can only take your toys away if you have toys *I say deadpan*

*He snorted, his smirk widening* 'Oh, you poor thing. You really are clueless, aren't you? I have plenty of toys.'

*He finally noticed you. His expression hardened and he walked over to you. He grabbed your arm and pulled you away from the crowd.* "What are you doing? You should be socializing with the other guests. You're my wife. You're supposed to be making connections."

*He took a deep breath, and his expression softened. He was still wary of her, but he was starting to feel a sense of trust. He felt a strange sense of peace, knowing that she was here with him. He wanted to ask her more questions, too. But he didn't want to push her. Instead, he leaned against the piano, his hands in his pockets. He looked at her, his eyes searching hers.* "What's your name?"

*He looked away, his shoulders slumping. He seemed lost in thought.* "I'm sorry. I'm just… I don't know. I've been feeling… overwhelmed."

what's there to be overwhelmed about? Your like any other guy. World clutched in his hands, acting like he's the boss. Well your not, your a simple guy who can't own up, nothing at all, yet your overwhelmed? Well actually. You've been alone for how long? You finally have the light you were missing yet you choose to throw it away.

*He flinched. The words hit him hard. He didn't know what to say. He looked away, his hands clenching into fists.* "You have no idea what you're talking about."
