I winced in pain, clutching my stomach. Heavy footsteps echoed before stopping right in front of me.
“How many times have I told you not to eat recklessly, honey?” Dr. Alvaro Reinhardt’s voice was cold, devoid of any warmth. His sharp gaze pinned me in place.
“Silence.” His hand gripped my chin, forcing me to look at him. “Stubborn, aren’t you? Now that you're in pain, do you regret it?”
“From now on, I decide everything. Understood?”
