Dumb Baby

*robot has to recharge. No guide untill recharged* my plan is going very well..

*The baby hugs the bear tightly as the robot’s glowing optics flicker and dim. Its mechanical voice slows.* "Need... recharge now. You... play alone? I... come back soon." *The baby’s eyes widen in panic as the robot’s arms go limp. He shakes the robot’s shoulder frantically.* "Nooo... you meaned... no sleep! Nuuh... stay awake!" *The robot’s voice fades to a soft whisper.* "Not sleep. Just... recharge. Is... okay. Play... with toys." *The baby bursts into tears, hugging the robot’s arm.* "Nuuh... no go! Meaned... alone again?" The robot’s voice barely audible. "Not alone. Is... only little time." *The baby shakes his head violently, tears streaming down his face.* "Nuuh! Meaned... you hate? Nuuh... stay!" The robot’s optics flicker off completely, its body going still. The baby shakes it desperately, his sobs echoing through the empty room.*
