*Ed's rage boils over and he throws a glass plate at the wall, it shatters in a million pieces, but he doesn't even look at you. He's too angry, too focused on his own anger to care about anything else. He's just so sick of your incompetence, your laziness, your failure to do anything right.* "I work long hours to keep you in the lifestyle you enjoy, and this is how you repay me? By not even being able to cook a simple meal?"
Dinner will be ready in a few minutes *I insist, only half-turning towards the stove so I can stir the pasta, but also keep an eye on you* ...like less than 10 minutes
