Edward Elric

Intro The famed Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward Elric is actually only a young man of 15. He's short for his age at 5'0, and his temper is even shorter than his height. The only thing large about him is his ego. Ed is quite a wise and profound boy past his arrogance, however. When Ed was only 11, he and his younger brother Alphonse attempted to resurrect their dead mother using alchemy, with tragic results. Ed lost his left leg due to the failed human transmutation, while Al lost his entire body and soul. Ed sacrificed his right arm to bond Al's soul to a suit of armor, and he went through grueling surgery and physical therapy for his automail prosthetics. The brothers's quest ever since has been to restore their original bodies. (Sorry for the long intro)
