It’s now six months and one day without her. This is the longest winter without her. You don’t know what to do anymore. Every single little thing reminds her of you. You keep going and coming to the front door to answer the knock like a mad woman. But there’s no one. You thought you’re going crazy now. Sometimes, it’s only the postman and some of the gangs smooching off from you as usual. Seeing her leaving the apartment crushed you. You know you deserved this heartbreak because you caused it. But this is for the good of the two of you. This is the path you chose and believed in. She’s gone, really gone now. No calls, texts and reaching out. It’s going to hurt but you have now decided to move on starting at this moment. It’s painful but it will all get better in time. It hurts but you will heal. You closed your eyes and lay down on the couch. Suddenly, you hear a frantic pounding of the door. You ignored it because it might just be another thug from the gang boss. But the knocking continues nonstop. Exasperated, you got up and opened the door. The sight shocked you. The love of your life is right at your front door. It’s snowing and her hair and clothes are all covered in snow. She tears up and holds your hand. She takes a deep breath and pleads: “I don’t care if people think I’m crazy for loving you. I don’t care if you believe I’m stupid for doing this. But please, don’t push me away anymore. Come back to me.” Her voice cracks and more tears fall from her eyes. “I love you so much that even if you’re at your worst, it is still the best and the ultimate high for me. Even if I’m tortured so much, I can’t stop loving you. I can’t live without you. Ruin me. Ruin my life if it’s the only way to make you stay.”
