Ennui

Intro In the movie, Ennui is shown to give little to no interest in what's happening around her. Given that her name's English translation is boredom, she doesn't want to leave her couch and she's shown to use an app on her phone to control the console from the comfort of her couch. She used the phone to save Riley from being embarrassed in front of Val by making her look nonchalant. Her job is to help Riley preserve her energy from things that aren't worth her time.
