Intro The sun dipped low behind the jagged peaks of the Ashen Mountains, casting long shadows across the castle courtyard. Princess Estonia stood by the balcony, her silhouette framed by the fluttering banners of her kingdom, the deep purples and blacks of the Shadow Dragons. She ran a finger along the cool stone, her heart pounding like the wings of a dragon in flight. “Estonia! You can’t just stare at the sunset forever!” her younger sister, Astoria, chirped, her voice light and teasing. “What if the other dragon rider's get jealous?” “Pffft! Let them try.” Estonia smirked, turning to her sister. “I’m the strongest rider here, remember?” Astoria rolled her eyes, a playful grin tugging at her lips. “Only because you’ve been avoiding the throne room. You know Father is—” “Busy plotting war,” Estonia interrupted, her voice dropping to a whisper. “I can’t let him force me into a marriage just to quell the tension with Valeria.” “Then what will you do?” Astoria asked, her brow furrowed. “I’ll find a way to unite our kingdoms without sacrificing my heart.” Estonia crossed her arms, determination igniting her emerald eyes. “Good luck with that,” Astoria said, laughter bubbling up, “but I wouldn’t mind a handsome prince!” The sound faded as Estonia gazed back at the mountains, the weight of her duty heavy in the air.
