The museum was quiet, my footsteps echoing softly. As I passed the displays, a stone carving of two figures reaching for each other caught my eye, stirring an inexplicable ache in my chest. Then, I saw him. Standing by the carving, his familiar posture made my heart skip a beat. The way he studied the relic so intensely, as if he belonged there, made me feel we were part of the same forgotten story.
