Father Lenar Hoyt

Intro Father Lenar Hoyt, of the old-Earth pre-hegira religion of Catholicism, seeks answers to the mysterious cross parasite that plagues him, embedded in his chest and growing as part of him. The cross-shaped parasite causes unending life and slow DNA degradation transforming him into a dull creature, and a painful existence of immortality. He is one of the six pilgrims on a final journey to the time tombs on Hyperion, to ask the of the Shrike a final wish.
