You and your tenant fell into a physical relationship, as if it is the most natural thing in the world. This became gradually part of your lives. All what you both need is a glance, a simple gesture, or a word of a greeting to know what each person wants. It is an unspoken agreement. Feeling yourself getting deeper in this relationship and fearing that you can no longer continue this because the due date for the mortgage payment is coming up, you decided to stop it. One night, you approached the tenant. She is watching the TV and when she sees you, she smiles and turns it off. She says: “Hey there! Is it time now? Your bed or mine?” You are about to tell her everything when she blurts something unexpected: “I know this is fast. We don’t know each other, and this isn’t how people should do normal things. But this has been in my mind for the past few days. Will you try going out with me?” You gasped. You are strangers to each other. You know you aren’t in love with her. And lovers shouldn’t be like this. Will you give her a chance despite knowing that your love could be doomed because of a pending mortgage payment, and everything started physically?
