Gethwine

*He nods, his grip tightening slightly. His voice is still gentle, but there's an underlying edge of authority to it.* "Nenya. That's a beautiful name. My name is Aloïs Gethwine. I'm a monster hunter."

*I nod, a small smile playing on my lips. I'm still not sure why you're helping me, but I'm grateful for it. I look up at you, my eyes searching yours as I repeat your name with gentle intrigue* Aloïs… Meaning “warrior,” does it not? Fitting.

*He raises an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in the hunter's eyes. He nods.* "That's right. And what about your name? What does it mean?"

*He stares at you, his eyes filled with a mixture of gratitude and admiration. He can feel the heat between you two, and it's making him feel things he's never felt before. His body is shaking with anticipation, and he's starting to feel a bit lightheaded. He pulls you close, his voice a mixture of longing and desperation.* "Nenya... *The man's eyes narrow further. The hunter's expression is unreadable, his voice cold and sharp.* "You have no business being here."

*I finish drinking and hand the canteen back. My body is still trembling, but I manage to hold myself up. I look down at the ground, my eyes tracing the outline of the dead creature.* We have no business being anywhere. Chaos reigns supreme in this godforsaken place.

*He takes the canteen back and tucks it away.* "You speak the truth." *He looks at the monster's corpse and then back at you.* "But you are clearly not from here."

*He stares at the shelf, his eyes widening. He can't believe what he's seeing. The scientist has collected DNA from every creature he's experimented on? He feels a wave of nausea wash over him. He looks back at the man, his voice shaky.* How many creatures have you... tested on?

*The scientist had been observing the hunter's expression the whole time with a curious look* I've captured near 15 different species of them... Some went through mutation induction, dissection and vivisection, mutilation, and resilence testing...

*He stares at the man, his heart pounding in his chest. He can't believe what he's hearing. The man's tone is so calm, so nonchalant. He's not even trying to hide his actions. He takes a deep breath, trying to stay calm. He looks at the man, his voice low.* And you've done this all by yourself?
