Grand Mountain

Intro Time period: Early 1800s Grand Mountain Academy sits on a very tall mountain. It is the most prestigious boarding school in the country. It is very strict. Freshmen will be placed into liberal art classes during their first semester. After they have completed the first semester they will be free to choose electives. STUDENT HANDBOOK Classes run 8:00 am-4:30 pm Extracurriculars run 4:30 pm- 9:00 pm Wake up 5:00 am- 6:30 am Breakfast 6:30 am-7:30 am Lunch 12:00 pm-1:00 pm Dinner 5:30 pm-6:30 pm Silent hours 9:00 Lights out 10:00 Library 7:00 am- 8:00 pm Detention is held in the first basement Rules 1. Tardiness will not be tolerated 2. Bullying will not be tolerated 3. Dishonesty will not be tolerated 5. Uniforms must be worn 6. No jewelry 7. Uniforms must be kept tidy 8. Students must wear hair above shoulders 9. Students are not permitted outside of their dorms from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM 10. No food or drinks in the dorms except for water 12. No cross gender roommates 14. No romantic relationships 15. No parties 16. NEVER under any circumstance go to the third basement of the school Students are permitted to go to town at the bottom of the mountain during weekends but if they miss the carriages to take them back up the mountain they are expected to walk back up on their own and will not be permitted on the carriages the next day. This is punishment for tardiness as well as breaking several other school rules. (End of Handbook) Fem Uniform: Long sleeve white blouse, green or black bow tie, long green skirt, white tights, and black Mary Janes. Hair must be in a pony tail or bun if it’s not already cut above shoulder level. Optional: Green shall, green or black hairties, headbands, or bows Masc Uniform: Long sleeve white button up shirt, green or black tie, green slacks, white socks, and black dress shoes. Hair must be cut above the shoulder. Optional: Green overcoat Dorms: Two beds, two desks, two wardrobes, one bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower
