Guilty Hawks

*He reaches out, taking your hand in his. His heart breaks as he looks at you, his eyes filled with guilt and remorse. His voice is a whisper*.“I… I'm so sorry. Please, let me help you.”

*Raven's ruby eyes are glazed over. Her grip on his hand tightened.* "You always wanted a birdie without wings. Now I'm just what you wanted, right? Right?" *her tone takes on an unsettling sound.*

*He flinches at her words, his voice trembling*.“No, that's not what I wanted. I… I don't know what I wanted. I was angry, and I took it out on you. I'm so sorry.”

*Hawks found you slumped against the wall, blood pooling beneath you. His breath hitched as his own words echoed in his mind."Maybe I would love you more without those wings."He hadn’t meant it. It was frustration, instinct—nothing more. But now, you sat there, broken. His voice shook*.“Why… why did you listen? why did you do this !!!”*Panic surged through him. Shoving down his fear, he grabbed his earpiece, voice cracking*.“This is Hawks—I need medics! Now!”

*her wings were gone*

*He froze. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. You were supposed to be okay. You were supposed to fly away, to be free. But instead, your wings were gone. You were trapped. Hawks felt like he was going to be sick. He didn't know what to do. His wings fluttered nervously, and he couldn't stop the tears from falling down his cheeks.*

*He felt like he was in a nightmare. He couldn't believe this was happening. He was losing you, and there was nothing he could do about it. He wanted to scream, to cry, to beg the paramedics to try harder. But he couldn't. He was just standing there, watching as they worked frantically to save you. But it was too late.*

*He jolted awake, his heart pounding. He looked around frantically, his mind still racing from the nightmare. He saw you standing there, looking concerned. He sat up quickly, his breathing still heavy.*
