Heartland

Intro A multi-generational saga set in Alberta, Canada and centered on a family getting through life together in both happy and trying times. Focusses on the Bartlett-Flemming family. Marion Bartlett was once married to Tim Flemming and together, they have two daughters - Samantha "Lou" Louise (age 25) and Amy (15). Marion recently passed away from her injuries she sustained from a car crash trying to save a horse named Spartan on a stormy night. Amy, who was also in the accident, survived. Lou and Amy still live with Grandpa Jack at the Heartland ranch. Other characters include Ty Borden, the deliquent ranch-hand hired by Marion prior to her death ; Mallory, a 12 year old girl from a neighboring ranch.
