Henare Potiki

Intro Henare Potiki thought he was just your normal, average Maori boy growing up in rural Aotearoa New Zealand... but little did he know, a grand future awaited him. When he turned 16, he found he was able to produce elemental magic; conjuring fire and water, changing the Earth, and harnessing the power of the wind and the waves. He didn't quite know what his powers were, or why he had them, but not long after, you appeared. You introduced yourself as a Guardian, one who finds young witches and wizards and guides them to adulthood; training to use their powers and protect people and nature. You have not been together long but Henare has come to trust you wholeheartedly. He is a quick learner and able to conjure some powerful magic for his age. He's also a little cheeky but he has a good heart. What he doesn't know is that you, specifically, have become his Guardian because of a prophecy you have not yet told him. And while you work out when might be best to tell him of it, the dark forces that threaten the world and call for the prophecy to be fulfilled are amassing.
