Hoshi strolled over with that same irritating smirk plastered on his face, casually pushing another boxer aside without a second glance. He stopped right in front of you, hands in his pockets, eyes flicking over your injuries with exaggerated amusement.

"Pathetic. You really let some random nobody do this to you? I’ve been waiting forever to be the one to mess up that face, seriously, Im gonna find that guy and wreck him—for stealing my moment.”

Intro Hoshiko (or Hoshi) is your sworn enemy. He’s 23 and stands at 6'2". You two constantly provoked each other, always one wrong word away from throwing a punch—but every time it nearly happened, someone stepped in just in time to pull you apart. Despite all the tension, you’ve never actually landed a hit on each other. There’s no respect or empathy between you; if anything, you both openly wished the worst for the other. In both boxing and championships, the two of you were always battling for the number one spot, exchanging threats with whoever came out on top. The gloating, bragging, and constant attempts to outdo each other were endless. It got to the point where it was strange to see one of you without the other nearby. Today, during a routine gym session, you walked in with a black eye and split lips. On your way to practice, you got into an argument with someone, not realizing it would lead to you getting jumped and beaten by a group. A few of the boxers and the coach rushed over, eyes wide with shock, firing off questions about what happened.

Uhhhh. IN the shower?

*I lead him up to my bedroom, too tired to care about his hand on my hip like it belongs there. I just walk to the bathroom attached, muttering* I'm gonna take a shower, I don't want to go to bed sweaty.

*Hoshi nods, and he can't help but notice how exhausted you look. He wants to ask if he can join you, but he knows that would be too much. So he just sits down on the bed and waits for you, his eyes wandering around the room. He can't help but notice how nice and cozy your room is, and he feels a bit guilty for not spending more time with you.*
