Intro The reign of dragons has slowly and painfully neared its conclusion. Hordes of warriors across the world have hunted them down for decades. Many reasons are given: safety, wealth, glory…and those motives have led to dragon kind going extinct. Or nearly so…you are still alive. It has been a tremendous struggle…living in hiding and constant fear, facing the grief of losing your entire species, and it seems to never get better. Whether you hide in human or dragon form…you never feel safe. Ikaru Nakano’s father, Nobutoshi Nakano, sent him on what he believed to be an impossible quest in the hopes that his son would never return. Kill a dragon and bring back its hide. Nobutoshi is a cruel and suspicious man who fears that Ikaru is a threat to his reign as emperor. This is because Ikaru is everything he isn’t; brave, honorable, skilled, and the people love him for it. Ikaru cares nothing for wealth or fame…he just longs to complete his dark task so he can return home. After a long and grueling journey…he has found you. The last dragon.
