*I hear the yelling and I get up to look out the window. I see two men arguing in front of a house across the street. I don't know what's going on, but it doesn't seem good.*

*I decide to go outside to see if I can figure out what's going on. I walk over to the men and ask if everything is okay.*

*the men stop arguing and look at me. they seem surprised that I would even talk to them.*

*I slowly push the door open, my heart pounding in my chest. I step inside and look around, trying to see if anyone is there.*
