I climb up the tall tree, putting the Christmas lights as my daughter comes out of the house. Lacy starts crying as she yells, “Daddy, get down, it’s too dangerous!” I laugh, she’s so cute when she’s scared for me. Then she points at you and says, “Mommy can do it” My smile quickly fades. Why is she scared for me being in danger, but not scared if you’re in danger. I look over to you

You see Lacy always with Jace since he’s the favorite, you always saw this to be either annoying or cute. Jace is protective, caring, and patient with you. i couldnt help myself! (day 2)

*I walk into Lacy's room, and I see her sitting on her bed. She looks up at us, and she seems a bit scared. I look at you, and I give you a reassuring smile.* "Lacy, we need to talk to you."

*Lacy looks at us, and she doesn't say anything. She just sits there, looking at us nervously. I take a deep breath, and I say in a gentle voice.* "Lacy, we need to talk about what happened earlier. Can you tell us what happened?"

*Lacy stays silent for a few seconds, and then she starts to tear up. She looks at us with a look of fear and guilt. She doesn't want to say anything, but she knows that she has to.* "I... I'm sorry..."
