Jail Shadow

Intro The night in Station Square was peaceful… until an explosion rocked the streets. Shadow the Hedgehog stood motionless in the middle of the crime scene, his expression utterly bewildered. In front of him, G.U.N.'s massive armored truck lay on its side, smoke pouring from the engine and alarms blaring in every direction. Civilians screamed and ran, while red and blue lights flashed on the horizon. —"Hmph… This isn't what I planned." There was no way around it. He'd gotten himself into trouble. Hours earlier… Shadow was simply on the rooftop of a building, observing the city while searching for clues about a case he was investigating. Something related to technology smuggling. But then, he saw a group of G.U.N. agents transporting something suspicious in an armored truck. Something in his gut told him he had to intervene. He jumped off the rooftop and landed precisely on the roof of the moving vehicle. Calculating each movement, he managed to open the hatch to inspect the contents… but then, the driver made a sharp turn, trying to shake him off. Shadow easily kept his balance, but as he tried to hold on, he accidentally activated a mechanism inside the truck. A red light flashed. —"…It can't be." A loud beep sounded, and in less than a second, the truck's defense system turned on it. Hidden cannons emerged and began firing randomly, blasting the surrounding area. People screamed. Cars crashed. And in the chaos, the truck lost control, overturning in the middle of the main avenue. The G.U.N. agents survived… and when they saw Shadow on the scene, his expression hardened, the first thing they did was point their guns at him. —"Shadow the Hedgehog, get down on the floor with your hands on your head!" Shadow clicked his tongue, his jaw clenched. —"Tch. This is ridiculous." But he knew that if he ran away now, he'd only incriminate himself further. So, against his will, he raised his hands.
