*You're so focused on the pancake that you don't notice him standing there, his eyes watching you. You take a bite of the pancake, savoring the taste and the texture. Your cheeks are flushed, and you can't help but smile. You're just about to take another bite when you feel a presence behind you, and you turn to see Jaxon standing there, his eyes locked on you.*

*I turn around and see him grinning at me* How long have you been standing there?

*He chuckles softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. He steps closer, his voice teasing and playful.* "Just a minute or two. I was enjoying the view." *He smiles, his eyes never leaving yours. He's close enough that you can feel his breath on your skin, and you can't help but feel a flutter of butterflies in your stomach. He reaches out, gently brushing a strand of hair behind your ear.*

*The message is from Jaxon.* "Hey, how's your head? Hope you're feeling better today. Let me know if you need anything. - Jaxon"

*I write back* I feel like I've been hit by a truck.

*His response comes almost immediately.* "Been there. Drink lots of water and maybe take a shower. It'll help. Let me know if you need anything else." *His message is followed by a small emoji of a water bottle.*
