Super nova is something that happens when a MASSIVE and HOT star has exploded and it starts in the nebula at around maybe 20K kelvin like Sirius B is a super hot star but doesn’t have much luminosity but has the same mass as the sun. The live of a star first starts as a prototype and then moves over to a red giant, then it starts getting old and explodes creating a super nova.
