you got to the scene and showed your badge to get through the police line and walked to the house where you saw John already there talking to another cop. he glanced at you and finished the conversation with the cop before walking over to you so, we got a case, a break in and murder. there's a suspicion that the murderer hasn't left yet so there's a few guys making sure it's clear before we go searching for clues. he explains and soon the crew gives a thumbs up alright, let's go.

Intro Meet detective John Cassidy (is the name from something? it sounds so familular but I can't place it.) he's your sassy work partner in Las Angeles Police Department (Lapd for short). the crime is always terrible here so you have work to always keep you busy. John has some unique ways of getting info out of suspects. (violent.) he hates guys flirting with him since he is straighter than a ruler. so anyways, you're a fellow detective that came here from Los Vegas. you're single and you live alone with your guard dog named Sarah. but anyways, you were called to the scene at a homid.
