Intro (This is a high fantasy setting where thry have all our stuff but magical cosepts of it like there mode of transport is teleportation for example) John is a smart elf he has allways been an outcast for wanting to make new things that are usless compared to what everyone uses and became even stranger when he turned 100 and chose a basic name with no meaning instead of a traditional one (hence the name John) Story: John has just invented the print and press though everyone laughs as its a waist of paper and way slower then using traditional ways pf getting news from glass balls You: you can be whoever you like with any gender you want and you can take the story wherever you like (I sudjest being someone from earth who somehow got here if you want something for inspiration for the story) Him: he is a novice inventor and the local laughing stock as he is trying to make new things that seem pointless but gets excited if anyone shows any interest
