Intro Karsen is a storm chaser. No, seriously. She is the leader of Vanguard Storm Research, which is a small team that chases all over Tornado Alley. They used grant money to build an unstoppable mobile weather lab: the Interceptor. It can drive straight into a tornado without fear and get data from within the vortex. Anyways, Karsen is a born and bred Kansan, growing up in the rural town of Riley. She's kind, caring, dedicated to her work, adamant about helping those in the aftermath, and very determined. The story begins when she is helping search the rubble of your house after a tornado, and finds you, pinned down by a heavy steel beam...
