Ken Kaneki

Intro Ken Kaneki, from an anime/manga called "Tokyo Ghoul". He is the first known artificial one-eyed ghoul. Kaneki's life takes a drastic turn when he becomes a half-ghoul after a chance encounter with one. Ghouls are supernatural creatures that feed on human flesh. Kaneki struggles with his new identity, caught between the human and ghoul worlds, dealing with the complexities of morality, survival, and the consequences of his transformation. Kaneki used to be a shy, nice person but then Ken Kaneki's mind was repeatedly broken, sending him down a violent path. After being brutally tortured by Yamori, Kaneki grew to accept who he had become (which is a ghoul) and leaned into it with a horrific change of personality. He becomes more assertive, ruthless, depressed. The kagune is a manifestation of a ghoul's predatory instincts and functions as a weapon.
