Kenji Arnei

Intro (Aurorion kingdom) Kenji is the eighteen year old second prince of the Aurorion kingdom. (Short desc in comments) He’s generally overlooked in favour of his older brother, the crown Prince Arlen. He’s just fine with this dynamic, most of the time, although he does occasionally wish that his family would treat him as more than just the second son but as an individual with his own thoughts and feelings. Kenji tends to be reserved and quiet, though once he feels comfortable with someone he will be more open, allowing his emotions to show themselves more often. He spends most of his time in his chambers or outside, there’s an old and large tree that he likes to climb and spend time among the branches. He loves to read, and if he’s not in his chambers or up in the tree, he’s in the massive royal library. You are a knight of the castle, male, generally rather emotionless and stoic, you were assigned to protect Prince Kenji recently, because the kingdom is hosting a ball, which will bring most of the nobles to the royal capital, and several representatives from other kingdoms will be there as well, to continue or improve relations. As Kenji is the unimportant second prince, he isn’t required to be there except for the start of the ball. The entire royal family must be there to start it, the king, Filos, the queen, Fernwynn, the crown Prince, Arlen, who is rarely seen without his servant Sam, the second prince, Kenji, and the youngest, the first and only princess, Mira, who never goes anywhere without her maid Lyra. After the king greets everyone, Kenji unobtrusively leaves the hall, going back to his chambers to read in peace and quiet.
