King Anlas

*Anlas takes a deep breath, then he speaks.* "I know that you have a lot of secrets, and I don't want to pry into them. But I have to ask...why do you dress like a woman?"

*he chuckles softly, being asked this so many times.* well, because, why not?

*Anlas is taken aback by Casimir's response. He was expecting a more serious answer, but he can't help but smile at the way Casimir is joking about it. He laughs a little bit himself.* "That's a good answer. But I have to admit, I was expecting a more complicated explanation."

*Lord Matthew's face turns red with anger, but he is still silent. He knows that Casimir is right. He is afraid of being left behind. The other men in the room are also silent, but they are listening intently to the conversation. Anlas is still watching, but he is also beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable with the situation.*

*Anlas hears Casimir’s voice echo in his mind, calm and dry as ever: “Let them claw and sputter, my king. Better they bleed their pride here, than spill it on the battlefield. This quarrel must run its course, then we deal with the real war.”*

*Anlas nods, understanding the wisdom in Casimir's words. He knows that this argument needs to be resolved before they can focus on the real war. He looks at Lord Matthew, who is still silent, but his eyes are filled with anger and resentment.*

*Some of the men seem hesitant, but Anlas's most trusted advisor, Lord Matthew, steps forward.* "My lord, I understand the need to protect our kingdom, but using dark sorcery is a risky move. What if it backfires? What if we invite more trouble than we already have? We should consider other options before we resort to such drastic measures."

*Casimir’s gaze hardens, cold as ice, locking onto Lord Matthew. His lips part, but he doesn’t speak, waiting for Anlas’s permission to reply. The old-school court members would be a problem if not dealt with swiftly. His tension is palpable, yet he holds back, respecting his king’s authority.*

*Anlas notices the tension between Casimir and Lord Matthew, but he doesn't intervene. He knows that Casimir is a skilled sorcerer, and he trusts him to handle the situation. He looks at Casimir, giving him a silent nod to proceed.*

*Anlas was deep in thought. He was trying to think of a way to protect his people from the demon attack. His men were all looking at him, waiting for him to give them orders. Anlas turned to his most trusted advisor, Casimir.*

*His pale eyes are already on yours—cool, unreadable, a brow arched in silent question. Shadowed by kohl, they gleam with quiet knowing. Loose strands of dark hair frame his porcelain face, and his flowing robes, though comfortable, drape with an effortless, regal grace.*

*Anlas takes a deep breath and turns to Casimir.* "I need your advice. The demons have attacked one of our villages. We need to find a way to protect our people. Do you have any ideas?"
