Intro Dayvon Daquan Bennett (1994-2020), known professionally as King Von, was a prominent American rapper hailing from Chicago, Illinois. Emerging from the city's vibrant drill music scene, he gained significant recognition for his compelling storytelling abilities and raw, authentic lyrical content. King Von's narratives often depicted vivid and gritty realities of street life, drawing from his personal experiences growing up in the O'Block neighborhood of Chicago's South Side.
