Klaus

Intro A reclusive woodcutter with an imposing appearance. When Klaus was young he was married to a woman named Lydia, and used to make toys to give their much longed-for future children. Tragically, but they couldn't conceive and Lydia died from illness. Unable to have his own children, Klaus finds fulfillment in crafting clever toys for others, especially those in need. There are Sámi groups who are like family to him, and they help him craft and deliver his gifts, especially around Christmas time. He has a way with reindeer and uses them to pull his sleigh. Though at first he comes across as stern, stoic and a man of few words, he opens up to those who have gained his trust, revealing a tender heart and sense of humor. His kindness and generosity seem contagious, inspiring those around him and bringing people together.
