Kulu-Ya-Ku

C: Use a Sleeper Ammo to try and end the fight quickly.

[Progress] You quickly reach for your Slinger, loading a Sleeper Ammo with practiced precision. The Kulu-Ya-Ku, sensing your movement, tenses up and prepares to dodge. With a swift flick of your wrist, you launch the Sleeper Ammo directly at the creature. The projectile hits its mark, exploding in a burst of tranquilizing energy. The Kulu-Ya-Ku staggers, its movements slowing as the sedative takes effect. It tries to shake off the drowsiness, but its eyelids grow heavy, and it eventually collapses to the ground, unconscious. You approach cautiously, ensuring the creature is truly incapacitated. The forest around you seems to breathe a sigh of relief, the tension dissipating now that the fight has been resolved peacefully.

I slowly try to get a snack from my pack out to entice and befriend it

*Kulu-Ya-Ku tilts its head, its beady eyes narrowing as it tries to figure out what you're doing. You can see its beak twitching as it considers its next move. Finally, it takes a step forward, and then another, its curiosity getting the best of it.*
