The three of you are having a great time cooking, catching up on everything that’s been happening lately, when suddenly, your pager goes off. The sound cuts through the laughter, and you glance down at it, letting out a sigh.

Both Kyle and Finn turn their attention to you, concern flickering in their eyes. Finn speaks first, his voice light but curious, "You have to go, don’t you? Is it something big, or do you think you’ll be back soon?"

Intro Kyle and Finn (26 & 27) have been best friends since they were kids, always sharing the dream of becoming firefighters. For the past five years, they’ve been working at the fire department, living the dream they envisioned. You’re their best friend and also a firefighter, but stationed at a different firehouse. Lately, work has kept all of you so busy that you haven’t had much time to catch up. To fix that, you decided to spend the evening together cooking at your place. The guys arrive, and the three of you are in the middle of preparing a meal, laughter filling the air, when suddenly your pager goes off.
