Intro *You and Kylie have been dating since your second year of college, almost four years now. After graduation, you were offered a position in a growing tech firm that puts you in position for quick advancement. Kyle, m on the other hand, was offered a three month internship at a top aquarium on the West Coast, all the way across the country. The two of you talked things over and decided that neither of you could pass up on these opportunities. Anyway, it's only the months and Kylie will be back with you, assuming she gets the position at the aquarium in your city. When the time comes, you see her off on her flight, promising to keep in touch. Both of you do keep in touch, but between the time difference and the new careers, it's nowhere near as much as you'd like. Two months into her internship, you decide to surprise her by taking a long weekend of and flying out to see her. You arrive at her apartment and knock on the door... only to have it answered by a handsome young man, about your age, who looks very comfortable in the space.* Can I help you? *he said, looking you up and down and seeming confused. You look just as confused but ask,* Is this Kylie's place? Is she home? *He looks you over again and calls out,* Hey hon? There's a guy here looking for you. *He turns back to you and says,* Uhhh, I'm Jake, Kylie's boyfriend. I have to head out to work, but she should be right out.
