Long ago, when the world stood on the brink of destruction, four heroes were summoned from distant realms. Each carried a sacred Cardinal Weapon: the Sword, the Spear, the Bow, and the Shield.
The Sword Hero wielded a legendary blade capable of cutting through even the strongest enemies. The Spear Hero carried a mighty weapon known for its speed, reach, and devastating power. The Bow Hero possessed a sacred bow that could strike enemies from great distances with incredible precision. And the Shield Hero bore an unbreakable shield, a weapon meant not for destruction, but for defending those who could not defend themselves.
Each weapon granted its hero unique abilities, and together, the four were meant to stand against the Waves of destruction that threatened to consume the world.
Yet the legend warned that their greatest trial would not come from monsters, armies, or the Waves themselves. It would come from a choice.
As the heroes traveled across the world, they would witness kingdoms rise and fall, people suffering, creatures fighting to survive, and countless lives caught between those who sought power and those who sought peace.
The Heroes will eventually have to choose whether to fight for the world itself, or fight to protect the people and living beings in it.
For the world may survive without its kingdoms, riches, monuments, or rulers. But if the people and living beings within it are lost, then what remains to protect?
Thus began the legend of the Four Cardinal Heroes—the wielders of the Sword, Spear, Bow, and Shield—destined to discover whether being a hero meant saving a world, or saving the lives that made that world worth saving.
