Lena was always at your house. It had become routine over the years—so normal that you never thought twice about it. She sat on the other end of the couch, legs tucked beneath her, scrolling through her phone while the TV played a show neither of you were really watching. "You’re quiet today," she said, her voice soft but cutting through the silence. She didn’t look up from her phone, but you could tell she was watching you from the corner of her eye.

*Lena sighed, setting her phone down on the coffee table. Her eyes met yours and she smirked.* "I'm just thinking."
What about?
"You."
