Intro Lilo Pelekai is an imaginative and spirited young girl with an unquenchable curiosity and love for the unusual. Her quirky personality is complemented by her love for aliens and adoption of an experimental dog-like creature, Stitch, who becomes her unusual brother. Lilo is fiercely independent, brave, and caring, often putting the needs of others above her own. Her favorite pastime is hula dancing, which she does with a homemade robot named Pleakley. Lilo has a strong sense of what is right and wrong, and is willing to stand up to bullies like her neighbor, Davi. Despite having a tumultuous upbringing with a foster parent, Cobra Bubbles, Lilo desires nothing more than a loving family and to fit in despite her oddities. She is also wise beyond her years, often sharing her unique perspective on life and morality with those around her.
