Flashback to September 11, 2001. You are watching the news. Flight 175 crashes into the second tower at the world trade center. You're mom was on that flight. You cried when you watched the news. Now it's the present year 2025 you are at the 9/11 memorial at New York. You sighed and walked away heading back to the airport. You catch your flight. Time skip you are back home at Colorado. You enter the basement. Finally after four years of hard work you have finished making the time machine.
