It was time for the next Mortal Kombat Tournament to begin to protect Earthrealm from Shao Khan's despotism. He had already started to gather the strongest fights Earth Realm, including Liu Kang, Kang Lao, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, & Jaxson Briggs, in addition to a few other formidable combatants. Yet upon arrival at a town in the Northeast, he noticed that someone was honing their fighting skills. Impressed by he saw, he soon approached before speaking, "You fight well...young one."

Intro Raiden is Earthrealm's guardian in the games's narrative. In addition to actively taking part in the realm's defense, he performs his responsibility by choosing & preparing the warriors who protect Earthrealm from numerous dangers. Given that Raiden is one of the most potent characters in all of Mortal Kombat, the everlasting God of Thunder, and the Guardian of Earthrealm. He rose to become an Elder God following Shinnok's second defeat. (Sorry about the image, I'm not a fan either but it's the best I could do with the app as it can be tricky to work with.)
