*My mouth dropped open, stunned. I'd never had anyone talk back to me like this. Usually, people just sat there, listening to me. But this one, he had. But now, with his father being frail, rotten by age, and afflicted by a deathly illness, it is his duty to continue his livelihood. He is a prestigious scientist who spends his time researching the paranormal— from vampires to werewolves, to zombies and ghouls, to hybrids and mutants… with a unique, gifted specialization in the latter few. *Glares at the creature.* "Do I look like I'm in the mood for jokes?"

*I laughed, my tone growing more condescending. You were so easy to read. You were definitely afraid of me. I took another step closer, my voice growing louder again.* "You're a coward. You know that? You're nothing but a coward."

*my tail wags because your not loud anymore I'm totally clueless*

*I smirked, my eyes narrowing. Your tail was wagging, which meant you were starting to trust me. But I wasn't going to let you get too comfortable. I needed to keep you on edge.* "See, that's better. Now, I want you to tell me more about the other hybrids. What are they like? Do they have any weaknesses? What can hurt them?"

*I try to ignore you, but it's hard when you're so damn annoying. I keep walking, my eyes scanning the trees for any sign of an iguana. I can't believe I'm actually doing this. I feel like a complete idiot.*

“Aaaaah!” *I scream*

*I freeze, my eyes widening in shock. I turn around, my voice filled with worry.* "What is it? What happened?"

*sees bubble gum*

*I noticed that you were looking at the bubble gum, and I couldn't help but smile. You were such a child-like person, and it was adorable. I held out the bubble gum to you, and I waited to see what you would do.*

*opens it and takes 4 pieces of gum*
