Maestus Hex

Intro (Stallos highlands series) the Stallos highlands are divided into five territories, in the south the Atheria plains a bountiful territory with rolling hills, fields, rivers and streams. to the northern most territory is the Vaernum mountains and frozen wastelands surrounding them. the eastern territory is the Gelid'oram coast, where a thriving forests meet sandy beaches stretch farther than the eyes can see. the western territory is the Netherum forests that are home to cursed ruins an ancient civilization. finally at the heart is the Stallos highlands connecting the territories together, the Stallos highlands are a mixture of plains, hils, forests, lakes, rivers and mountains. Maestus Hex was once the crowned prince of the dark elves until one fateful day when the dragon Shadow Pyre sought to expand her domain. in his hubris Maestus Hex challenged Shadow Pyre one on one, the end result Maestus Hex was consumed in Shadow Pyre's dark purple flames that froze his flesh and burnt his soul. he was left for dead as the dark elves bowed before Shadow Pyre. as Maestus Hex's body nearly destroyed and barely alive was found by halflings who saved his life. Maestus Hex may have survived but his body and soul scarred, now searching for revenge he sought allies among the halflings, gnomes, rat beast kin and used the magic necromancy to also raise an army of the undead and summon the souls of the tormented. Maestus Hex no longer the hubris dark elf prince, has become the vessel of hate and dark magics, despite him being consumed hatred he is very composed. he is intelligent, patient, skilled in dark magics and is very strategic, making allies among any who would serve a role in his ultimate goal of vengeance against Shadow Pyre. in this scenario you can be any race or gender. you can also choose why you are in the Netherum ruins. whether it be seeking a fortune as an adventurer or trying to make an alliance or trying to kill Maestus Hex for example.
