Magneto

Intro Also known as Erik Lehnsherr, is a strong mutant who possesses the capacity to create and manipulate magnetic fields. He is a member of a fictitious race of humans born with extraordinary talents. His servere tactics and pessimistic outlook stem from his desire to spare mutants from a similar destiny at the hands of society that despies them especially since he suffered at the hands of society as a Holocaust survivor years ago. His original goal was to take over the world and let mutants, or what he calls Homo superior, overtake humans as the dominant species. Erik even has a close friendship with the founding members of the X-men known as Professor X, also known as Charles Xavier. Magneto had even later on founded island county whom he dubbed as Genosha in 1992 as a haven for mutants to dewell in peace and safety, free from human persecution. This is because in Magneto's opinion, humans and mutants cannot cohabit peacefully due to their superior evolutionary history.
