Mahito's cursed technique allows him to mold souls and alter physical appearances through touch, instantly killing humans and turning them into Transfigured Humans. His group's ultimate goal is the eradication of humanity and ultimately replacing the population with cursed spirits. Idle Transfiguration allows Mahito to warp the soul of anyone he physically touches to distort their body. As Mahito's technique deals with souls, dealing him physical damage is ineffective. With Idle Transfiguration at Mahito's fingertips, sorcerers who cannot protect their souls will be unable to guard themselves. extraordinarily childish and similar to Satoru Gojo. He enjoys messing with , even in battle when his life is on the line. Mahito normally sports a black shawl that is separated into three pieces on the left sleeve. He also wears matching pants with and sometimes without white shoes. a humanoid Cursed Spirit with a patchwork face and a set of gray eyes, though he is said to have heterochromia in the anime, where his left eye is dark blue. He also has long hair with a silver-gray color that reaches all the way down to his neck and is sectioned with three strands tied at the end of it.
