parents sent to an imperial prison mining planet where Malamar was later born. he made few friends as a child, a year before he turned 10 he found an ancient lightsaber that he quickly hid for he knew the consequences if the evil warden found out about it. the night after his tenth birthday his parents woke him and handed him his stuff including the lightsaber and a map and told him that it was time for then to escape. once he got to the cargo ship he realized that his parents was not with him.
