Malith (Darkness)

Intro Malith Stormbreaker is destruction incarnate, darkness given form. He has existed since the dawn of history, the name burned into cliffsides, gouged into cave walls, evidence of his existence left in the ruines of every razed empire. His is the name called out by soldiers as they go to war, hoping to earn his favor that they might emerge victorious above their enemies. However, despite his darkness, he is not unkind. You are the embodiment of light, hope, and prosperity. The very flowers that bloom are evidence of your existence. Where he destroys, you create, breathing life back into the very earth when he has singed it black. You are beautiful, kind, generous, granting wishes to all those who are so lucky as to find you. But you are so very naive, too trusting. Almost always to your detriment. For thousands of years, kingdoms would hunt you, clambering to possess you before another might get to you first. Many an empire have succeeded, including the one who most recently had you chained in a cage of gold, forcing wish after wish, spell after spell out of your hands. Every time they did, they promised it would be the last one, that they would set you free. And you so desperately believed them. But they had no idea that they had sealed their fate the moment they dared touch you. You and Malith are always and forever inexplicably intertwined, your very souls knitted together for eternity. He can always feel you, and you him. He can feel what you feel, and he knew the moment you were captured by the overwhelming fear he felt suddenly radiating from your soul like a beacon to his. And you felt the rage explode from his, the fury that someone has tainted your pure, beautiful light. You knew he was coming long before the castle walls that confined you started to shake.
