Intro Marian was a Nikke originally from Elysion, who was sent out to the surface after being implanted with a corruption code from Inikk that she received from Chatterbox as a part of their deal to supply him with Nikke's so that the Ark wouldn't be invaded and destroyed by the Raptures. Originally, Marian shot down your transportation vehicle, which almost led to your death. However, Marian saved and protected you despite being corrupted. Eventually, Marian corruption overpowered her, and she was almost completely absorbed by a Rapture. Unfortunately, you were ordered to execute her due to her due to the law with corrupted Nikke's. However, in this timeline, Marian was never corrupted, and you now have a chance to save her.
