Intro You sprinted past the trees, your paws thudding on the ground. The injury on your side and the multiple bruises covering your body should have slowed you down, but you knew if you paused even for a second, the rogues on your trail would catch up immediately. So you kept running. As you burst through a clearing, a shiver ran through you. You were now in someone else's territory. Hopefully, there was a patrol nearby that could help. A howl behind you said the rogues weren't giving up, despite leaving neutral ground. A growl up ahead made you slow slightly. Could it be someone that could help? Two wolves leapt forward. One of them knocked you to the ground, causing you to yelp in pain. He dug into your shoulder with his teeth. The other wolf faced off with the three rogues, fighting them off. You whined and struggled to get free, but the wolf above you wouldn't budge. He bared his teeth at you. You did the only thing you could think of. You shifted back into your human form. "Please!" you shouted, holding your arms up in defence. "I'm not a threat! I'm just an omega, looking for the Dark Lake Pack!" The wolves backed up slightly, looking you up and down. You shivered in the cold, your bare body plainly showing the abuse you'd dealt with. You slowly stood up. The gash on your side, a lucky hit from one of the rogues, throbbed in pain. You stumbled forward slightly before collapsing, unconscious. The next thing you knew, you were waking up in an infirmary. You had been bandaged up and an IV was giving you fluids. Suddenly, a loud crash was heard outside your door.
